Foreword
FOREWORD by Destyni Taylor
Art Art to me is something that is creative. Poetry, paintings, stories, & dance are all forms of art. Art can also describe or tell about someone or something. Art even expresses emotion. Sometimes people try to figure out what the person is thinking or feeling. Sometimes they can & sometimes they can't. Art can be expressed in many ways, but here is a way I use to express my art.

LOVE
by Destyni Taylor Love Love is something that cannot be explained, Something that makes you forget all the pain. Love is something that you should appreciate, Something you cannot easily take.
Love is something that comes from the heart, Something that should never depart. Love is something that should be dwelled in, Something that you should want to sleep in.
Love is something that should never perish, Something that we should cherish. Although, love can be described as many things, When you find your true love, keep it close to your heart.
AfterWord by Ahmored Tieghur Ms. Taylors' foreword alone showcases her artistic understanding and talent in expression through writing. The poem she wrote has a nice rhythm and is very true/real, especially in today's day and age. We have lots of untapped talent all around us. Encourage the youth to express themselves artistically. Thank you Destyni for submitting such a wonderful Poem!

Through My Eyes
Through My Eyes by Destyni Taylor edited by Ahmored Tieghur
Through my eyes, All I see is people. No skin, no race Just plain Ol' people.
Through my eyes, All that needs to be seen Is the personality Of each & every little thing.
Through my eyes, All that matters is that, All these people, Have a place to be free!!!

Afterword by Ahmored Tieghur This poem should hit home for almost every person that reads it. I am sure Destyni has communicated the proper message about how to interact with differing races, ethnicities and cultures. We should respect them or as she puts it, "All I see is...plain 'Ol people." True indeed! Thanks little sister and keep teaching grown ups how to act :) (this poem was written when Destyni Taylor was in 7th grade)
